Welcome to 9jaTrip ("9jaTrip", "Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our transport booking platform, logistics services, package delivery services, website, mobile applications, customer support channels, and all related services.
By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
Services Provided
9jaTrip provides, but is not limited to, the following services:
- Inter-state and intra-state transportation bookings
- Bus park and terminal operations
- Seat reservations and ticketing
- Package and parcel delivery
- Charter and group travel services
- Online payment processing
- Travel scheduling and trip management
- Logistics and dispatch services
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.
Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
- Provide accurate registration and booking information
- Use valid identification where required
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Providing false information may result in suspension or termination of service.
Ticket Booking & Reservations
4.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only after successful payment and issuance of a valid booking reference or ticket.
4.2 Passenger Responsibility
Passengers are responsible for:
- Arriving at the departure terminal or pickup point on time
- Confirming trip schedules before departure
- Providing correct phone numbers and contact information
- Keeping tickets and booking details secure
4.3 Missed Trips & Lateness Policy
Passengers who arrive late to the pickup point, terminal, or park after the scheduled departure time shall forfeit their trip.
Payments made for trips missed due to passenger lateness are STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE.
9jaTrip shall not be liable for:
- Traffic delays affecting passengers
- Failure to locate pickup points
- Forgotten departure times
- Missed calls or notifications
- Passenger negligence
Refund & Cancellation Policy
5.1 Non-Refundable Situations
Payments are non-refundable under the following conditions:
- Passenger lateness or absence
- Missed departure
- Incorrect booking information supplied by passenger
- Failure to present valid identification where required
- No-show cases
- Expired booking validity
5.2 Refundable Situations
Refunds may only be considered where:
- Trips are cancelled by 9jaTrip
- Double payments are confirmed
- Technical system errors occur
- Vehicle breakdown prevents travel and no replacement is provided
Refund approval remains solely at the discretion of 9jaTrip management.
5.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds may take between 7–21 business days depending on banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions. Service charges, transfer fees, and processing charges may be deducted.
Package & Parcel Delivery Terms
6.1 Prohibited Items
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Firearms or weapons
- Explosives or hazardous materials
- Stolen goods
- Counterfeit products
- Human remains
- Perishable items without disclosure
- Cash or high-value jewelry without declaration
- 9jaTrip reserves the right to inspect packages where legally permitted
6.2 Sender Responsibilities
The sender is responsible for:
- Accurate receiver information
- Proper packaging
- Declaring fragile or valuable items
- Ensuring legality of shipped items
6.3 Delivery Liability
9jaTrip is not liable for:
- Damage resulting from poor packaging
- Delays caused by security agencies or road conditions
- Confiscated illegal items
- Incorrect recipient details provided by sender
- Natural disasters or force majeure events
6.4 Unclaimed Packages
Packages unclaimed after 30 days may be disposed of, returned, or auctioned to cover storage costs.
Passenger Conduct
Passengers shall not:
- Engage in violence, harassment, or abuse
- Smoke or use prohibited substances onboard
- Carry dangerous items
- Damage company property
- Disturb other passengers
- Violate driver or terminal instructions
9jaTrip reserves the right to deny boarding without refund for misconduct.
Delays & Operational Changes
Trip schedules may change due to:
- Weather conditions
- Road traffic
- Mechanical issues
- Security concerns
- Government restrictions
- Operational emergencies
Estimated departure and arrival times are not guaranteed.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 9jaTrip shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Missed appointments or business losses
- Emotional distress
- Delays outside our control
- Losses arising from third-party actions
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected service.
Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, software, and branding associated with 9jaTrip remain the exclusive property of the Company. Users may not:
- Copy or reproduce company materials
- Reverse engineer systems
- Use branding without permission
Fraud Prevention
9jaTrip reserves the right to:
- Verify identities
- Suspend suspicious accounts
- Reject fraudulent transactions
- Cooperate with law enforcement agencies
Any fraudulent activity may lead to prosecution.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any disputes shall be resolved through:
- Negotiation

- Nigerian courts where necessary
